Shaoyang Nanfang plans to invest 1.3 billion yuan in the construction of two new dry process cement production lines with a daily output of 4500 tons of clinker and supporting pure low-temperature waste heat power generation systems. The project is planned in one go and will be implemented in two phases. After the completion and operation of the two phases of the project, an annual cement production capacity of 4.8 million tons will be formed. It is the largest cement enterprise and leading enterprise in the building materials industry in Shaoyang City, and the only high-grade cement manufacturing base in Shaoyang City. The actual investment of Shaoyang Nanfang Phase I Project is 800 million yuan. The civil engineering started in October 2009 and was completed and put into operation on September 30, 2010. The construction period is only 11 months. It was rated as the "Management Model Unit" and "Safety Management exemplary organization" of China Building Materials Nanfang Cement in 2010, and won the "Special Prize for Project Construction". At the same time, it was rated as the "Management Model Unit" of Hunan Nanfang Cement Group in 2010. In 2011, it was awarded the title of "Excellent Enterprise" by Hunan Southern Cement Group.
